France, Switzerland, and Italy

I loved my time in all 3 countries; due to the fact that the air quality was getting worse and worse because of the heatwave coming in, I was not able to experience everything that my group did. They were all very accommodating and very wonderful about helping me but I didn’t wanna go on five mile walks when I couldn't breathe and I didn't want them to miss out on something. So instead, I had some lovely trips by myself. 

France

I went to the Notre-Dame Cathedral which was amazing. Cindy and I took a golf cart ride up into the mountain area outside of the city and we were able to see some beautiful sights. We also saw a woman getting married which was exciting. We got to go at our own leisure, which was pleasant, and upon our return, we had some funny stories to tell about our driver. I would highly recommend.

Switzerland

Our next stop was Switzerland and I fell in love. The air quality was beautiful and I could breathe, it was lovely. We stayed in this five star hotel overlooking Lake Lucerne, which was totally amazing and accommodating. During the day we went into the village and while they did a lot of exploring, I sat outside of the City Hall. On Fridays, they close the city hall for business and instead do weddings. I enjoyed watching several nervous brides go in and confident brides go out. It was a joy to see this, and I thoroughly enjoyed that part of it. 

Italy

The last stop was Italy and to be honest with you, it was amazing. Anything that you have heard about Italy is true (if it’s good things.) It is crowded, but it’s exciting. It was very hot, but I totally enjoyed the things I was able to do. I did go to the Vatican, and whether you’re Catholic or not, Atheist or not, Spiritual or not, whatever you are, the artwork within the Vatican is totally 100% breathtaking. Especially when you realize how old the art truly is.
